Guys and Gals...Is Orange Hair Attractive? You know the kind, where she started off brunette and attempted to go blonde, but ended up with more of a rusty/orange color? I've seen a lot of this lately and wondered if people find that attractive, or if people are too unkind to tell the person donning the color.

i find myself saying this a lot, but for me, pretty much every hair style depends on the person wearing it.
some people can carry pretty much anything off, and some don't look quite as good with certain styles. my dad, for example, looks really awful wearing a "bob".

I had neon orange hair last year for burning man. I think it stayed stong for a couple of days until the dust and sun (and the occassional head wash) started to "bleach" it out. It was black light active...so it would glow fantastically under UV.
I remember checking out a camp that seemed to have lots of black lights everywhere and I walked in to see what was going on. They seemed excited to see me (I thought it was my outfit, but it was my hair (I had forgotten it glowed). But the best part of it was as it was "bleaching" out. My hair went from orange to melon, to champagne to yellow. Everday was a new color. I felt like the Horse from Wizard of Oz. I got many compliments. THough if I was to pick a color to have it would be baby blue...always thought that color was hot! Christian Zombie Vampires

I used to color mine when I was in cos, back in high school, and it was fun... like froggie said earlier, it depends on the person wearing it, I suppose. But, what I've been seeing are women who seem to be reaching for blonde, but ending up with rust. I went through that when I was a teen, dying to be blonde... when I finally reached the blonde stage, it was pointless, I couldn't pull it off with my skin tone or my features and immediately went back to brunette or whatever color I decided to be that month. I should get in touch with my mom and snag some pictures of my wild do's from the '80s. I had pink, bright red, purple... all sorts of cuts.... those were the days! Actually, thinking of it now, those were the days I felt the best. Not being "normal"... lol

I'm a fan of Manic Panic's orange hair coloring. I LOVE women with neon hair. When Kate Winslet colored her hair for "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" it made her all the more fuckable.

But, yep... that's the shade that is not a color given by God, or that is supposed to be the results of using hair color from the store! The guy looks okay with his... it sort of matches his style and he looks as though as if it was done on purpose.

I've had that before. I call it "Latino Blonde".
By and large, not a fan, don't find it attractive. BUT, like TheFrog says, it really depends on the person wearing it. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

Generally it is not a good look, which gets even worse when it starts to grow out. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Yeah... it really is how you pull it off. Kitty-Kitty: I'd like to do my hair like Natalie, too... but, unfortunaley, my ears are too big and my hair would frizz like a poodle! I would LOVE to be able to have a style like that, or like the one on that one hair product commercial... oh... all I remember is she's driving in a car and one girls hair sticks straight out and the other's doesn't... it's all in the product!
