Buy a dumbell and start doing some arm and chest work. Combine this with push-ups and sit-ups and some cardio work and you will be fine.
If nothing else push-ups will tone your arms and chest.

I recently started exercising and I'm the same age as you. I got a gym mebmbership and asked the gym owner for advice. He told me to start out with cardio-exercises such as biking/spinning and go slowly on the weights. That reduces the risk of hurting the muscles.
Good luck! | |

You might want to try aerobics or other exercise classes. Someone mentioned spinning which is like aerobics with music and an instructor but on a bike where you control the resistance level so it's up to you how hard you work.
I personally like the gym but it's not for everyone as you have to motivate yourself and people get bored easily. Anyway best of luck! BTW I think you're lovely as you are!!! if you've gotta pay for things that you've done wrong I've gotta big bill coming at the end of the day- Gil Scott Heron

personally i don't think you need much aerobic training if you are thin.
i like pilates, it works for me. you can look online for pilates workouts, there's a mat routine and i think a stick and ball routine. go to QVC.com and do a search for pilates. see if it piques your interest.
