I'm so bummed already! My once-powerful Buffs had a horrible off-season with all of the scandals, etc....Now, word came today that Jeremy Bloom lost his final appeal to play - we're going to have a VERY long season and I'm not predicting great things. Or even good things, for that matter. confused

It doesn't make sense that the athletes can't make a living while in College. The colleges make so much money from them. I've never understood that.

I think it's pretty silly too - I mean he's not even making money in the sport he plays for the school! How does THAT make any sense? I just don't get it. Oh well...I'll still be rooting for the Buffs even though I know the odds of this being a good season are pretty slim.

One of the things I love about college football is, at least for me, there are a couple teams that you LOVE, a couple teams that you HATE and the rest of the time you just wanna see some good games! There's always a story and a lot of meaning behind each game due to the fact that the seasons are so short and EVERY game means someting! Awesome!!!

Love: Colorado (alma mater - gotta love them even in times like now)
Love: Colorado State (except the first game of the year when they play Colorado)
Love: San Jose State - underdog and my dad's alma mater.
Hate: Nebraska - I can't tell you how much we hate them at Colorado. 62-36...great game.
Hate: Oklahoma - just cause they're so damn good and a Big 12 Rival. Other than that, I like Stoops and company. I guess it's not really hate. More envy. They're too damn good most of the time.
Hate: Texas
Hate: Texas A&M

worship they're gonna kick some ass this year. hopefully. worship Lou Holtz worship

Clemson is in the Top 25 this year. barf I hope they lose every single game. I'm gonna try to get tickets to that game this year.....even for students it's hard to get tickets for that one.

*Not football related....but how about Otis Harris winning the silver in the 400m. fellow gamecock.*

add-on edit.
