endorphin74 said: David was easily my fave. I had a crush on him for about 5 years! I am seriously going to pretend I didn't see that. Then again, I was hot for Brandon back in the day. I loved the dramatic episodes that surrounded David's attempt to become the next Dino. And then borrowing money from the loan shark to pay for his drug habits. So tragic. I'm glad to see 90210 come up in conversation in here (they seem to come up every few weeks at work)...the dream is still alive! I want DVDs soon! I've always had a soft spot for the mean girls (Lucy on General Hospital years back, Erica Kane on All My Chilluns) so that made me partial to Brenda. Then a friend of mine pointed out that one of her eyes is noticeably lower than the other. That threw me off. I wasn't sure my 90210 life could go on when she left...but then they brought in Valerie and life was even better than it was before Brenda. I could go on and on, but I've embarassed myself enough already.

Let us not forget that BEST ACTRESS OSCAR-WINNER Hillary Swank was on 90210 for about half a season!!!
Brenda and Valarie were hot. Who didn't get screwed-up on drugs at one point or another on that show?? Dylan was addicted to heroin (twice) as well as an alcoholic; Brandon had some sort of problem with a drug that was a knock off of E; Kelly was a coke-head; Donna was addicted to painkillers. Who else? I don't remember Steve having a problem, but I'm probably wrong! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

It came to light at the slumber party that one of the women (can't remember her name...she was just on that one "very special episode") was anorexic and addicted to diet pills. She was not so nice, but everyone sure showed her the love she needed when they found out her deep, dark secret. My love affair (as much a love affair as it can be since I'm not so hetty-inclined) with Hilary Swank started with The Next Karate Kid, grew stronger with 90210, intensified with Sometimes They Come Back...Again and was at its apex with Boys Don't Cry. Love her!

Steve messed around with steroids in the 2nd season and tried to convince Brandon to do it too and then the schoolpaper published an article on the use of steroids and ... Now, I know David was manic-depressive, but didn't he also have a problem with drugs? Oh, and I remember that Val was a pothead. And how ugly is she? I hate how they tried to make her "the sexy virgin". And I know that this show wasn't exactly known for it's acting, but she was too bad even for this show.
