Well, I can identify with this. I remember how I used to save pics on my computer, gather up loads that I really liked. Then I'd feel guilty and delete them all. A little later I'd wish I hadn't and would go looking for those same pics again. Then the whole process would start all over again.



Now I lump the porn thing in with all the other thoughts I have about my life before I go bed - things I reaffirm to myself (stay off cigs, don't drink too much, eat healthily, be good to wife and look after myself properly...)

I do this most nights, try to motivate myself in the right direction with all things in my life, make sure my energy is well used, and porn goes in there too now. I feel good if I stay away from it. Honestly it makes me feel like an ass regarding my wife. We have enjoyed it together but even that I don't enjoy much anymore. It has its place, but it's not a big one in my life.

However, porn involving Sweeny might change my mind.

Two things:
1. Without the internet i don't think i would b into porn. Now it's just one of these things you do online, when the org gets slow or anything
2. I occasionally get off on the more depraved kinda porns, although i don't think i would enjoy watching or doing most of that stuff in real life. If the porn happens to still b on after it served it's duty, i sometimes do feel repulsed by it and sometimes feel sorry for the people acting in it. Very strange indeed

I have felt this very same way Kim, although many years back... of realizing how much sexual activity through thought, direct action, visuals... consumes society (yes, it is natural and very beautiful, it does exists) yet sick and insane just the same.

Many of our most criminal crimes (sick mental acts) today revolve around the sexual nature. Child molestation, rape, murder... all for what? The urge and complusive drive to gain sexual satisfaction or a maddening cycle of former sexual acts that have been done to them, perhaps and many times as a child. We all know this exists... we see it, we read about it... we hear in on the news, and many... yes more than we can probably fathom or have admitted... have lived through it directly. It happens everywhere, in the best of "assumed" homes and families, rich, poor, all nationalities, all parts of the world...the sickness does not discriminate.

In saying... I choose to not participate... I am not perfect (far from it). Yet I do hold a high set of standards to do my best in not contributing to, or succumbing to this sexual focus in sexual urgency.

If it makes you feel bad... simply don't watch. Watching porn is repetitive, if you have seen one... you have in a sense seen them all. The act is very simple, yet damaging and tormenting as well. To feel, there is so much beauty that truly exists... (I am very aware of the evil as well) although why influence the mind with images that destroys our soul, or creates us to feel anything less than whole).

This is the choice of life I have made. I feel more complete as a person... and trust me, there are plenty more areas I can continue to improve, it's endless. I just can't see myself contributing to an area where some of the most horrendous acts of unspeakable/unjustifiable, sickening crimes exist. The child who suffers from all this insanity are many who will grow up and commit the very same crime. Where does this cycle end? I believe with each individual who chooses to live their life differently, we all have that choice... we can make that choice to make a change.

I respect your honesty Kim... in ways you may never quite know. I believe your expressed words of bravery and truth... speak for many, even myself. That or I understand your mind.

I do have open conversations in my direct life about similar subject matters discussed here... although here is not a place I care to discuss anything short of the beauties I see/feel, there are plenty who make up for the lacks I have. It's all relevant.
