there was that one movie with robert duvall, THE PREACHER - it was pretty good. june carter cash was in it, and she was beautiful as always.

that was called the apostle over here in the uk (unless it's a different movie). that was a damn, damn fine movie. outstanding performance by duvall.

Yeah, I liked it for the same reason Ash did. We went through a period when I was growing up that my parents were attending an Assemblies Of God church. So much of the film reminds me of the atmosphere in that church. The concert scenes are worth the price of admission alone! I was forced to go to sooooo many cornball "Christian Rock" concerts!!! lol
