Thank you for being my friend and thank you for being my partner in crime for all of our Prince adventures together. I am so grateful to you for so much. For everything you have done for me in this past year, for the front row seats, for the music you've shared with me, for the Kenna concert, for the Bowie concert, so many wonderful things.

this year's been so freakin' phenomenal...i made a pact with myself to enjoy myself this year, and holy crap...i certainly lived up to my promise!!! i've seen more prince shows this spring/summer than i ever imagined i could, i got to check out bowie twice, and i got to see the cure just recently...what more can i ask? and for most (all?!) of these shows, i had the pleasure of rockin' out with my buddy TOFKA, who i just can't see myself going to a show in chicago without. it's so cool to go to all these shows with someone who's genuinely excited and enthusiastic about good music, and ivy certainly fits the bill. thanks for being my partner in crime!!!

even beyond music, it's been a great year - i'm getting deeper into my classes at second city, i'm feeling healthier than i have in a long time, i gots me an adorable sweetie and i've made a bunch of amazing friends this summer. if the trip to turning 35 is half as good as the trip to 34, it's gonna be a hell of a year.
