Question 200: Q: In conversations, do you tend to listen or talk more? Follow-up question: Q2: What are you looking for when you converse with people? What kinds of things do you usually discuss? Are there other things that would be more interesting to you? i need to write an essay to answer this one..... In conversations i tend to listen as I'm the one my friends call when they have problems, But as a conversation is not really a conversation unless both are contributing i do actually join in too. If I'm excited there is no shutting me up When I'm conversing with people I'm looking for someone who can keep me entertained. They must not have a monotone voice and be truthful i have no time for blatent lies.... what we usually discuss depends who I'm talking to i suppose. and yes there are plenty of things more interesting i would love to discuss if only i ever had the time my question was boring i was hoping for a naughty one i can't spell edit [This message was edited Wed Aug 18 9:09:21 2004 by podiumdancer]

Question 93: Q: While in the government, you discover the President is commiting extortion and other serious crimes. By exposing the situation you might bring about the president's downfall, but your career would be destroyed because you would be framed, fired and publicly humiliated on other matters. Knowing you would be vindicated 5 years later, would you blow the whistle? What if you knew you would never be vindicated?

Question 108: Q: You are invited to a party that will be attended by many fascinating people you've never met. Would you want to go if you had to go by yourself? Sure, why not? It would give me the chance to meet and mingle with new people, rather than feel like I had to spend most of the night talking to the person that I had gone with. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

154 Question 154: Q: Do you judge others by higher or lower standards than you use to judge yourself? This is a toughy..... Dependsv on the person and the situation....there never seems to be a clear answer to a question like this. If the person or persons were better qualified or more confident than I then I would likely judge them higher (it's unrealistic to say we don't or shouldn't judge). Though at the same time I would be looking to raise my expectations of myself in order to adapt. Conversely if I was the one taking the lead then I would judge myself higher..... as I would have the responsibility and duty of care and guidence. This only relates to tasks and the like though and not to judgement of humanity where we are or should be on an equal footing. In truth the answer is fluid. I strive for equal judgement, but this is not always possible and my perception of my judgement may be completely different from anothers. Hope this makes sense....cos I'm gettin lost in it.

Question 010: Q: Do you believe in ghosts or evil spirits? Would you be willing to spend a night alone in a remote house that is supposedly haunted? is this Q #2 or 10 ? Naw, i think ghosts / evil spirits are the brains default way of trying to make sense of all the input it is getting. I do believe in various electro-chemical stimulants (or lack thereof) which will alter your perception of the world. I'll only spend it there with : a) you and some mo'orgers, or b) a solid party going on, or c) my gf, or d) all of the above. You don't scare me; i got kids

Knowing you would be vindicated 5 years later, would you blow the whistle? What if you knew you would never be vindicated? Whoa, okay I usually stay away from politics for the very reason that I expect people of power to exploit their positions for personal gain. If I was to discover that the President (or Prime Minister) was commiting extortion, I sure as HELL would want to be rewarded for exposing this and not face any sort of public humiliation. I understand that backlash from the opposing party or parties would be expected and honestly that is all bullshit I would rather not risk basing a career on. Even if I was vindicated 5 years later... that sort of public opinion is hard to reverse after that long. So, no and no (but I don't plan on running for office either). Question 69: Q: If a friend were almost always late, would you resent it or simply allow for it? Can you be counted on to be on time? I would allow for it. I am on time mostly for work - but I tend to run late for recreational activities. If I am needed to be on time I am. Maybe if you took off that chastity belt you could breath a little mo betta.

You did... Question 13: Q: What would constitute a "perfect" evening for you? Hmmmm...A perfect evening for me would be, having a relative take the kids for the night while my loved one and I order food in and watch a movie of our choice and then just letting things happen. Because after all we have all night.

Question 81: Q: If you were to discover that your closest friend was a heroin dealer, what would you do? I've never tried heroin and I have no desire to. So this makes it a very difficult question for me to answer in an objective manner. I am aware of the foolishness that even intelligent people exhibit when confronted with peer pressure. Rebelling against the fashions of ones friends not only carries a stigma, it is hard work as well. As a general rule, when someone's livelihood depends on breaking the law, that person won't hesitate to break your face. So if they were my friend, as much as it would hurt to do it, I would try and break all ties with them. I guess I could try and talk them out of it, and convince them to give up dealing drugs. However, being realistic, I think the pull of making a lot of money out drugs would be too alluring. I guess another option would be to show them or tell them how its usage ruins people's lives. Not just the users but their friends and families. Plead with them to stop. Get them information about a recovery group in the area and the effect of heroin. As for getting the authorities involved, in a perfect world my friend would get caught before coming after me (once I've told). In this sense, I'd consider supplying the authorities with an anonymous tip. Just to do whatever would make me feel comfortable.

Question 24: Q: Are there people you envy enough to want to trade lives with them? Who are they? Well, I've always fantasized about what it would be like to be someone extraordinarily famous (like Princess Diana or Princess Grace)... extraordinarily beautiful (like Elizabeth Taylor in her youth)... extraordinarily wealthy (like Bill Gates) - - - but all my mental scenarios involve the people and places in my life now. It's difficult to imagine not living the life I have so far and not cherishing every moment - even the saddest ones. Even though I am not the most famous, the most beautiful and the wealthiest person... I am happy with the cards I was dealt. So my answer is: I don't envy anyone enough to places with them.
