when i was living in NYC, one day i was walking home from ben & jerry's in broad daylight with my roommate, my boyfriend at the time, and his best friend and some dude just jumped out of nowhere, punched me in the mouth, and ran off, just like that. it was bizarre. that's probably the closest i've ever been to a fist fight.

..and no, I haven't since elementary school. Last time I punched someone was about 10 years ago and he didn't do anything after I hit him with that left hook, so that wasn't a real fight.

When I was 6-7 years old I let older guys at school punch me, so after withstanding that I had a nice reputation as being some crazy fucker they shouldn't mess with. To this day I'm not afraid of anyone, I know I can get crazier than anyone out there, which is why I know I need to keep my cool. I might just kill someone if I don't. I've learned to control myself since I was a kid and seriously beat the shit out of others a few times. As my mom told me, with great strenth also come the huge responsibility of not using it unless you really have no other choice.

Yeah, I had my share of fights. When you're growing up in the hood and are considered a geek or weirdo by your peers, you're definitely gonna have some run-ins with niggaz. Cuz niggaz be hatin'. Muthafuckas just want a piece of you. That's just how it is.

Anyways, yeah, the majority of fistfight I've been in, I have lost. I'm a man about peace anyways, so I don't really like violence (also that is a major belief I have as a Buddhist).

I don't really fight now because I try to maintain peace with everyone I come in contact with. But I believe that you should protect your personal space. If anyone tries to violate your space, you fuck that muthafucker up. I don't care who he or she may be. You gotta defend your territory.
