i haven't been out in new york in quite a while...since i moved to chicago, actually (not including night of 1000 stevies). i will be in nyc for one night only, this saturday night. what is the hottest night club right now? i know shit changes every three days but what is a great club to hit on a saturday night. i don't care about gay or straight...i just want good music. i like funk, rock, brit pop, house...whatever, really. i just want it to be a bad ass club...no lame places, please...

can anyone make some suggestions?

is cleo's big? i need a lot of room sto venture around in. i need lots of visuals...a long line outside makes it even better. espcecially a long line that doesn't let everyone in. pretentious new york club bullshit? yes. and i love it (when i'm in the mood for it).

I haven't been to New York since 98. Twilo would've covered what you're looking for back then. Sasha & Digweed were in residency at that time too. Course, I've no idea what it would be like now.

ooooh, gurl...twilo was my spot! we used to go to "juniorverse" every saturday night! junior vasquez would start spinning at about 2am and we would be all sorts of high, partying until about 6 or 7 in the morning! and the palladium was hot too...we would head over to "save the robots" afterwards for some after hours mischief. too much fun!

alas, twilo is gone along with sound factory. and limelight is a fucking joke now...if its even open still. i don't like the roxy...so played out. i want something new when i go this time. i heard about this place called 17. some kind of new spot with funk and rock...but its a bar, not a club.

Sallysass I visited all those places. Funny they were so good. I Loved that...Robots and Living Room were Mad Rave Music ... Loved that Scene. Dark and Smoky and TECHNO....

Yes and LIMELIGHT Man in The OLD Days and I went to this club called The Saint On ST Marks Place...Tiny ALCOVES..People did stuff in the walls..Drug Use they were taking X all at Robots. Juice only. I went to some club can't remember the name on Park Avenue and they had Beds ya sat on to chill. I was Always into the Clubs. Used to go to Roxy also. Had Go-Go Boys. Spy was Really Cool and Life also. We hung out everywhere.

oh man! "Life" was great!! sunday was gay night, i think, but we used to go on wednesday for their rock n' roll nite. what a trip. and the mod boys were so f'n hot! with their skinny ties and coke smiles...they were so cute!
