wow.
the women's team competition (gymnastics) was wonderful. hard luck to the US with a second place & russia in third and congrats to romania. and the final floor exercise of the group competition... the beauty of the floor competition is incredible, the talent phenomenal. the romanian's kicked some serious ass but my goodness the final gymnast for the Chinese was just incredible, unforgettable. did i mention i like gymnastics? | |

Go USA!

the SI site only sorts by gold OR silver OR bronze medals! handy if you want to put USA at number 1 but not really how anyone else ranks them. Try this for a 'real' count. don't worry usa, you'll soon catch up once you and the chinese get on the track!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/spo...efault.stm as at 20:25 on Wednesday 18 August fair to say that aussies are still doing pretty well, and that china are doing pretty rubbish. also, breat britain are better than USA! in your face! yeah, I know. it's a slow day at work ok?
