It was to Bjork fans! It was a song from the unreleased album, so for many a first glimpse of something they are looking forward to.

I'm assuming you meant to say boy, I thought he was sooo cute. I wanted to grab him and cuddle him. Indeed. BOY. Sorry. Still think it was oversentimental and tacky.

What! The pie eating contest? No! That's it! I'm taking back those two games I granted you to see if the Australia Men's Basketball team is any good! It's ON! USA will SQUASH the Aussies!

The opening ceremony was amazing. I loved the sculptures that tumbled apart in slow motion and had to cry when they started playing Maria Callas. The blue guy (Eros) was beautiful. I think the person who choreagraphed that sequence should get a gold medal! PS I thought the blue in the fake paper boat was a bit over sentimental and tacky. Eros was amazing! Also, I thought the Centaur was so cool! (this is a human recreation of a famous Minoean statue!)

Nederland 2 You have just become my #1 beauty. Thank you. However, I found out this morning... it is channel 64 CNBC (through COX cable). Last night I did not even look. Watched a lousy movie instead...

The swedish boxing expert commentator just said something hilarious (he's a pro boxer himself). He said "It's annoying in the amateur boxing when they stop the game to wipe of blood. A little blood never killed anybody
for Olympics! | |

for Olympics! Must be annoying for them too. They've got those big, funky helmets to protect them as it is! They can hardly see anything in it but that's prolly the intention so that fewer hits will be taken and less damage. I say that if they're stupid enough to get punches thrown at them for a living, good riddance.

Anybody want to comment on the differences in reception between Iraqi, US, Isreal and Afganistan atlethes? "It's better 2 B hated 4 what U R than 2 B loved 4 what U R not."

I just caught my first visual on the High Bar... individual Vlasios Maros (?) just did an incredible routine. I found myself clapping literally outloud when he struck it solid. It truly is amazing some of the abilities seen, the determination displayed and the heartache felt when a single second can destroy a single dream. It's exhilarating, I feel. I have not watched the Olympics for years.
Anyways... | |

I enjoyed watching all of the athletes march in....especially the men. I never realized there were so many good looking athletes competing. Four strings across the bridge. Ready to carry me over,Over the quavers, drunk in the bars,Out of the realm of the orchestra

I missed everything except the last woman w/ the lit up pregnant stomach walkign into the water & all the countries being introduced. Then I went to sleep, never saw Bjork. DAMN, that looks fantastic. Sorry I missed it!
