Snakes, small animals, obviously other birds..... If there is a lot of squirrels and small animals around, he will not be leaving anytime soon... make friends with your new neighbor.... he'll keep the riff raff out! I think that is it - He was a bit whiter in the breast - but I think he was young - so is he just going to eat everything and then leave? Like I said I have not seen a mouse in weeks and I put traps out by my garbage to make sure they don't get into anything - or anywhere(hate mice). But I don't have any birds in my feeder or my bird bath any more. Hey do they eat bats? At night I have bats around my pool - they don't bother me - but I was just wondering? Yep... they eat until until the food source is depleted then move on.... look around for squirrels, they are usually the most resilient of the small animals. They also love rabbits.....we have too many damn rabbits around my house, but there are no predators... mother nature at her finest....

Do you live near a yellow-brick road? Coco I would agree that the predator is most likely a hawk. Not sure what service is available in ur State but I know here in Oz U can call the RSPCA for situations of such. Maybe worth looking into....

There isn't anything wrong with Wisconsin. It's a beautiful state and they have the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks.
