i am going to share something with you all, because it's kind of relevant and something hardly anyone knows about me. this was years ago.

there was a local personal ad type service, and i took out an ad saying i was looking for other prince fans to meet and hang out with, whatever. i never insinuated romance.

well. i agreed to meet this one guy for drinks and he... i wish you could have seen the body language. i sat across the table as closed as i could be, arms and legs crossed tightly. he was leering over the table, and seeing i was uncomfortable, asking if waking up to someone telling me i was beautiful every day would make me uncomfortable. things like that, just fawning over me, just way way too much. i was plotting my exit, dead ending every question. i wanted out.

when we walked outside he asked if i wanted to go somewhere else, a club or something, and i think i straight 'no-d' him. if i didn't, i should have.

this is not to say i'm all that. this is to say ... i'm a mess i guess.
