Wow, that's tough. Well, in the sense that it can last for one night and then last several more, yes.
Can it last just one night? I can't comprehend such a difficult scenario. I can't empathise. I'd certainly feel for a person in such a situation. Sounds like a lot of heartache to me. I guess sometimes there are those funny little situations people find themselves in when they see really important things happen quickly in their lives - chance meetings, brief connections, sparks of something special.
