as for mpls bein the most literate city--i dunno. when i first moved here 3 years ago, i was walkin around downtown (i think i was at the crystal court) and there was this woman and a guy walkin in front of me. the woman asked the man, "how do you spell 'minneapolis'?" it can't be that hard to spell, really...it's pretty much phonetic!
