I spend too much time at the theatre. So far this year, the best I've seen:

Kill Bill Vol 2
Spider-Man 2
Heir to an Execution
A Home at the End of the World
(so far this year, this one is easily the best for me)

Worst I've seen this year:
Soul Plane
Connie & Carla
The Village
You Got Served

Movie I've not yet seen that I know I'll love:
Maria Full of Grace

best this year? or ever? if it's this year, i haven't seen many, but it would definitely be spiderman 2.

if you mean best ever, that would be any of the star wars movies or LOTR movies. AWESOME!!!

Sigh...
I wish people would watch more old movies. Not that Star Wars and Lord of the Rings aren't good movies, but there are so many people that think good film started with George Lucas.

HELLO. bar none, best movie i've seen (released) this year. the car-crashing-over-the-bridge scene was breathtaking, as was how beautiful the entire moment was as she floated away...

plus i love matty d anyways horny

sidebar: the film felt really classy, as most of it took place in europe. am i tragically american?

The best movies I've seen this year are 21 Grams and Bad Santa.

one of my all time favorite movies (not mentioned here because we were talking about theater) is The Court Jester, with Danny Kaye. i also love Song of the Islands and My Blue Heaven with Betty Grable. and of course Breakfast at Tiffany's! biggrin
