I found this on google and I had to post it. biggrin So heartbreaking to come that close. Oh well I'm still proud of them for even makin' it "that" far. I think they got so lucky in a lot of their games. I still cringe when I think of "He Hate Me" on the last play. Maybe next year....just maybe.

Ricky Williams retired. omfg shocked he's so young. But I guess if he's not into football anymore then he's doing the right thing. I know it's kinda off from the original topic, but I didn't wanna waste a thread for it.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I conferred with my sources and the retirement is indeed accurate...nod

This looks identical to Barry Sanders situation...
Both RB's were moody/eccentric
Both retired without notice
Both retired after the draft, not giving their teams any chance to draft another RB
Both went/are going to far away lands immediately afterwards.

Much like Barry, I think Ricky was fed up with his team not advancing.
Miami has such a poor line, i'm sure this played a part.

Well, this changes my fantasy draftboard...

As a Dolphins fan, it is frustrating that the back ffice seems to get so many things wrong regarding the team.

Wannstedt still there!!!

Only this year has there been an overhaul on th O line, however training camp ain't even started, so it may not be that good but it can't be worse.

Ogunleye holding out, I appreciate that a team cannot be held to ransom, but sign him.

Fiedler!! Feeley back up!!

The list goes on.....

Oh 4 sho! The Falcons rule (a ATLian 4 life!). Michael Vick has got it goin on now. I was very shocked to hear about Rick Williams of the Miami Dolphins, but hey I guess the sunny Austrialian sun cannot be turned away...lol Even tho I wanted N.C. to win last year, the Patriots deserve their props. For college GEORGIA BULL DOGS RULEEEEE! Second for me is most deff Ohio!

I know, I know....tough times for CU football....with all the stuff going on (allegations, players leaving the program, etc), I don't expect to be the team we were in the past, but hey - it's my alma mater - I gotta stay true even in the tough times!

According to sportscenter, Ricky's tired of the "excess baggage" that comes along with being in the spotlight. He was on anti-depressants at one point. They also said that he wanted to do other things in life, like travel and stuff. shrug.
