The bird landed with a broken wing
softly hurt with quiet pain
A lion sat down next to her ; with his paw he healed her wound
the strength and courage she lacked to fly he gracefully allowed

Maybe one day he'll fly with me, she thought
hoping for a miracle of sorts
the lion, now, had sent her off amidst the clouds above

Looking down she saw herself still perched there on the ground
neither guessed thier paths were set
sister destiny in disguise
She flew away without a clue, that morning in the early dew

The gallant lion appeared in dream wishing she was near
bluebird knew then, for the first, nobody could compare
Her lovely lion she would meet
by the crystal stream
The time apart in physical - nothing, it would seem
