AUSTRALIA........ im moving to australia!

but is it to be melbourne or adelaide??? 
i have to make a stand!as to where im going to bring my son up.....hmmmm new zealand is a cool country but i think aussie just nudges it!(unfort newcastle upon tyne is out..my first option!) plus its 5000 a baby..wahey!!!!! | |

well im from the uk..living in nz..my baby boy isaac is a kiwi..im not that keen on living here..i used 2 live in aussie...so as a compromise im going 2 live in oz!plus i used 2 live in those 2 cities..
sydneys cool but too expensive 4 a reg nurse! | |

its not till nxt year..trying to be v organised...adelaides a cool city ive got alot of mates there though im always high as a kite there as adelaide boasts the finest  ..in de world(cept thailand and the dam!) | |

Welcome back! If you can, live in Sydney. We're easily the best city in the continent, friendliest people, best weather, culture, etc. If it's down to those two, though, I'd go with Melbourne. | |

yeah but its money....i know sydney theres some real shitholes eh?(as well as being one of the most exciting cities in the world)...its got big city syndrome..great 2 visit but i could never afford 2 live there

There is no culture in Sydney i'm afraid. Just knuckleheads like Mr Despues, Natisse, Diva etc. 
Come to Melbourne, we have lots of culture here. We also have panthagirl and lilmissmissy! When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. | |

Seriously though, your son would have so many more opportunities here in Melbourne rather than Adelaide!! There's alot more happening, dat's 4 sure! Adelaide is nice and peaceful...but i dunno, i still say Melbourne No hablo espanol,no!

All the same Melbourne is the most livable City in the World, as voted many a time. Melbourne is very new with much more potential for the future. Sydney is great but it is very expensive and established & as for Adelaide, well it lives up to it's reputation as being the City of Churches.

I haven't been to Sydney since i was three!! I've heard some great stuff about the night life there...and the shopping!!! lol actually I prefer the nightlife in Melbourne to Sydney, but that's just me it's not as wild as Sydney, maybe that's what it is? he he he
both Sydney and Melbourne have a lot going for them but as Chrissie said Sydney is VERY established and kinda "done" whereas Melbourne is going through a rebirth which is really cool | |
