Apparently, the weather this 'summer' has been awful. Is this true? I heard there has hardly been one hot day for the whole summer. I won't be too happy if I come back at the end of this month and it's raining. Just a little forewarning so that you British orgers can sort it out for me.

The weather aint been too bad so far, but it has been a bit grey the past week or so. It was pretty hot today, with sunny spells in London. We hit a nice patch at the begining of June, and usually it gets a bit better towards September. Up North tend to get a bit more rain than us, but there has not been as much as some years.

Last year was the best summer I've seen , apart from 73, but I had only just been born. We hit over 100f one day and it was the highest temps on record since they began 500 years ago, and we had lots of days in the 90's. It was a bit much for me, coz its always really close in London when it gets that hot. Any green open space was filled with people sunbathing which was a funny thing to see, and everyone tended to stroll around a lot more, rather than rush.

It would be nice if there was a bit more so fingers crossed.
