How Beautiful Is This... :) Ocean sent me this greeting card, featuring the photography of an artist named Sean Scott:
Apparently this was taken around where she lives...and how gorgeous is that!!

Sometimes I wonder how much of a touch up these professional photos get... you know, the postcards, the calendars...
Sometimes they're so beautiful, it's hard to believe that the picture is of a natural beauty... you know? Anyway... that's a georgeous pic...  |

Oh, I'm sure there's a certain amount of touch-up done, all photography has its enhancements...filters alone on an enlarger will up the contrast, make the shadows a richer black, things like that...but what really stands out is that a shot like this can only happen if it's close to existing in nature in this state...90% of a shot like this is cropping, exposure, and timing... | |
