Gooey's Playlist OR WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO NOW?

The cd's on the shelf today are;

star A bootleg of The Strokes live at Paradiso, 2,28,02

star The New Rashaan patterson, After Hours, which is AWESOMELY good. Every prince fan needs a copy.

star Al Green's Greatest Hits. Must have

star A view Prince albums; Controversy and Dirty Mind (been tripping on Private Joy and Do It All Night)

star The new Loretta Lynn, Van Lear Rose. Beautiful country album, produced and arranged by Jack White. Love the song Little Red Shoes, if you can call it a song.

star A burned album of downloads of Bjork songs and Franz Ferdinand songs. The Bjork songs courtesy my sweet, sweet friend Nathan and the Franz Ferdinand songs courtesy www.franzferdiand.org

star Atomic Blondie, The Very Best Of. Faces; Call Me and Hanging On The Phone.

star Miles Davis's Ascenseur Pour L'echafaud. Must have. It features the song called Generique, which is 2 minutes 45 seconds of pure bliss. The album is remastered and has all the alternate takes on.

star And, just to please CLoudbuster and myself; Kate Bush's A Woman's Work, both albums nicely compiled on one MD.

star star star star star star star star star star star star star star star
star Now Playing; Kate Bush's Warm And Soothing star

Van Lear Rose is an excellent album! One of my favorites this year.

Currently, I'm listening to "Open Our Eyes" by Earth, Wind & Fire.

Hey! One of my favorite songs. biggrin Quite an innovator and entrepreneur, that Sylvia! It's quite likely that without her, hiphop would never have found its way into mainstream.
