i use to hate my name, but now it's growing on me. Many people couldn't/can't pronounce it right.

At first I didn't like my Italian name I always told people my name was Damien, but I have grow to like it because there is no one I know that has my name, although I do hate it when people miss pronounce it or spell the Damien with an a (Damian). Once I even put Damiano down for this award thing I was going to get and on the award it came up with Damian, I was really pissed

My name is very, very dull as pointed out by 1 particular Orger!! I don't mind it though.

when i was younger i hated my name because it was uncommon..i always wanted to be a Heather or Jennifer.

now i love my name.

when i was younger i wanted a different first name but that's calmed down since i;ve gotten older. my parents were going to name me arusha after the town where they met but they didn't want me to stick out too much. my grandparents had scared my mother into thinking i was going to come out look all weird because my father's black and my mom didn;t want to give me a weird first name on top of it all. so of course i come out normal looking and with the most common female name in the USA.

Now i wouldn't want to change my first name because it's just a part of me. people know me by my full name and it's my two last names that set me apart from the rest of the Jessica's out there. when i sign things i use my first initial and my two last names.

i like my name its Maya...but sometimes i wanna change it cuz ppl b fuckin up my name...callin me may-uh...or the worst one that i just don't get Myra...i never understood that one..aint no R n my first name...and then sometimes i wanna change it to make it a bit different a lil weird u kno....thats y my alter egos name is Inez...cuz if i changed it i'd change it 2 Inez or somethin like Maldina...Daminanah (thats how u spell it right? heard it on tv)...or Indira...another thing that makes me wanna change my name is my middle name is Mae...and i'm cool wit dat..its my grandmas name...but when ppl find that out they start callin me Maya Mae...now its bad enough that the name is country soundin..but when ppl say it all country n shit that pisses me off even more.
