FOOD DAY at Work!

We've got a couple of folks leaving our team, so we're having a potluck today. I brought some meatballs and a nice turtle pie (you know, chocolate, nuts & caramel & whatnot). One of my supervisors brought some sloppy joe's, we've got some potato salad and other sides. Potlucks can be cool if enough people participate and bring some cool stuff. Anybody who works in an office environment will know what I'm talking about. What do you guys like to bring to these things?

in the summer I bring my pasta salad. It's overflowing with fresh veggies and basil, full of color and flavor...YUMMMM

in the winter, I bring either my veggie mexican rice or veggie chili. I like to show coworkers that food CAN taste good, even if it isn't made of meat

Do you find it difficult to eat other folks' 'tato salad sometimes? That's a sensitive dish for some reason. It always seems like nobody's is as good as yours or your mom's.

lol @ 'team'. you've been brainwashed (as most of us have).

i do a good cheesecake (more creamy than rich), devilled eggs, the standard spinach dip. i work with women who love to eat and fortunately cook, so our food days are infamous. the whole company's back in our little corner of the world. one day they did dogs and kraut and no lie, some of these heifers were eating hotdogs at 6am.

i'm all over the vegetables and dip. this one woman i work with - i can't stand her as a coworker but damn the bitch can cook. she made these things, i christened them 'love bars'. they knock me in the back of my knees and i have to sit down. she brought them to volleyball one time and i ate like... five.

Man, those are a staple in most offices. Probably to the point of being played out. Pus, they'e downright lethal. lol Nothing should taste that good. One Krispy Kreme probably has about a zillion calories.

Our main bosses ( the owners) are on vacation unitl mid July. Since the owners have been gone we have had "pot luck" every day. Pizza, cookies, cakes, donuts, enchiladas, tacos, tamales, you name it, we have had it.....
I just fear that we may have to roll each other out of the building by the time our bosses get back razz
