i have to qualify this.

i was adding my spin to that poem last night, and the verse in bold was screaming through my head, but i couldn't remember where that line was from.

IT DROVE ME INSANE, all last night and all this morning. (ask froggy, who patiently humored me.) i was going to make you rue the day.

anyhoo, if you look at the lyrics you'll get the gist of my frame of thought.
