Welcome to the all-new prince.org!

I know things look quite different, and it might take a little bit of time to get used to where stuff is, but please do investigate! All the active areas of the old site are still available, and updated. Some tips and cool stuff to try:

* Pop around
The quick way to navigate around the site is to use the "pop-up" menus across the top of the screen, below the logo and date line. Just move your mouse over the words, and they should "pop up" a menu of links. Check out all the options!

* Your 'public profile'
If you want to share some more information about yourself with others, like what country you live in, or your favorite albums, etc., check out your "profile". It's completely blank by default, but you can fill it in if you want! As an example of what you can put in there, check out mine (click the link on my name to the left of this message.)

* Got a problem? Found a bug?
Use the 'contact us' page. It's always available at the bottom of the page in fine print, and in the 'extras' pop-up menu.

* Stop by for a chat!
We're going to hold a "staff chat" tomorrow at 3pm pacific time. You're welcome to join us in the chat room and ask any questions you might have, yell at us razz, etc.! In general, the chat can be a useful place to find people to ask questions, too.

* Another way to jump to the homepage
Clicking the "giant P", or anywhere in the logo at the upper-left part of the page will return you to the homepage. Just a handy shortcut.

Now, what can you expect to find on the site?

Plus, I'm continuing to add small features over the next
few weeks. I welcome your feedback, and hope you enjoy the new site!

{{{You know, when I started the first little bit of code for 2.0 last August, I had in mind a much smaller project... just a 'facelift' for the site. It turned into a lot more than that...}}} and I'd like to thank everyone who helped, either with suggestions, beta testing, or just patience! I sincerely enjoyed creating the "skeleton" that supports "prince.org"... but it's YOU that make it a living, breathing place, and for that I'm always grateful that such a community of fans exists.

Sincerely,
Ben
