Hi,how do i find out the value of my collection? Not that i would sell ( NO WAY ) but after 15 years of collecting vinyl/mags etc i need to know what should be stored some where safe...
plus i have 2 of some..... WHAT 2 DO ???

It's very difficult to value your collection. A single item is worth what someone is willing to pay you could check ebay and see what something is going for but it's an inexact science. In the UK there's a book called the Rare Record Price Guide published by the long running magazine Record Collector but as a rule they only list UK pressings. Also items like the Madhouse CD's go for big bucks but aren't listed in the guide presumably because they are specific to Prince fans!! In my view they should be in the book! I'd like to know what my collection is worth too! I wouldn't part with my collection anyway it is far to valuable to me (so many memories!) but I would out of interest like to know what it would fetch.
