I wanted to know if anyone knew where to find an empty 3 cd jewel case that I could transfer the discs and the booklet of Emanipation to?

I would imagine Amazon or eBay are good starting points. While 3CD cases may have not been as necessary as 1 or 2, they are still available. On Amazon, you may only find them in sets of 10 or something.

You could check your local area, and find the mom n' pop shops, and just call them or email their FB page or something, tell them what's up, if they have an extra somewhere, you're will to pay a few bucks for it, etc.

Not sure how badly you want or need a CD case at this point, in 2021. But good luck finding it. Use the web and search, then search some more.

Also, try your local Nextdoor or Facebook Marketplace, and put out a feeler.

I do too, but I'm super picky on who I spend money on for a CD. Funny enough, when we moved here in late 2014, I never unpacked my CDs. I had digitized all my CDs and LPs a few years before that, so as of right now, I don't need them out. I may whittle them down and try to sell some off of artists I am not that committed to for physical copies.

I think that's it. Don't remember for sure as I haven't taken that one off the shelf in a good long while. A lot of places have them listed as 22MM but I'm not sure there's actually a difference (other than 1MM).

They're readily available, but rarely sold individually. I used to buy them in bulk for Grateful Dead shows (before everything and everyone went completely digital), which would regularly require 4 discs if you didn't want to cut a long song in half.

To that end, if the ebay link isn't what you're looking for you could always buy something else that was released in the same jewel case and toss the innards upon arrival. There's been a ton of things released in those cases but the only thing that's coming to mind is the Grateful Dead Dick's Picks releases. Not sure the jewel cases would be shiny and new, but you can get them on ebay for .99 cents plus four dollars shipping.

I've never purchased a triple specifically, but you should be able to find a quad that looks exactly the same pretty easily.

So like, I was just downstairs doing the dishes at 2 in the morning (because that's how I do) when it occurred to me...

You could just buy another copy of Emancipation for, ya know, dirt cheap. I'm pretty sure you can still find them sealed. I understand being attached if it's your original copy, but that way you would have the exact correct jewel case.
