Happy to see them open again.

Was planning to make my first post-2016 visit earlier this month for the Celebration. I hope I can make the next one, whenever it is.

COVID is not over. What people should be doing is writing to businesses and municiplaites and asking for them to continue to stay closed.

What if Covid-19 is not 'over' for another year, or 18 months, or ever?

EVER? No not likely but humans will adapt because they have too.
My question is if Celebration 2021 happens is it going to be anPurple Fan Rush to PP to make up for lost time?

I personally, with COVID-19 still running unchecked throughout the USA won't be going out anywhere in public to celebrate anything! Now is not the time.

>

I love me some Prince, but celebrating Paisley Park ain't all THAT important. Let's get real.

>

Maybe next year. Hang in there Paisley Park, I'll buy some merch!

wink

I agree. 2020 has not been good to us.

I completely agree with you on this. My husband and I were planning to go to PP in September but since COVID hit, there is no way we'll be going anywhere in the US in 2020. The US is in such a shit storm of a mess with COVID, so its best we stay put this year. And, I'm hoping the next time we visit the US, you'll have a new president that actually cares about their citizens rather than the narcissistic asshole that is currently running your country.

I refuse to allow COVID to rule and run my life. COVID may never be over, and what then? People cannot and should not stay inside forever, and shouldn't live their lives in fear, running from a virus, and I won't...my opinion, my choice.

If we cannot develop an effective vaccine, it's not going anywhere. It could become seasonal, like the flu. Measures could become effective, and treatments better. But it will be with us forever.

Wowugotit

I'd love to tour Paisley Park Museum this summer. My bestie isn't a huge Prince fan like I am. It would be nice to meet another Prince fan there for a grand tour.

Prince can't save you if you get covid. If it's meant to be Paisley Park will be there, but you won't if you don't heed the warning.
