i am guessing that bootleg prince products are rightly objected to here.

while searching on ebay for genuine prince items i came across a seller selling "colectors editions" of prince albums. They are basically a copy of the rerelease of Purple Rain Deluxe format, including the associated album and remixes/extended/demo's of tracks from the album and or era etc.

naturally i reported the seller to ebay who questioned my knowledge on if the products were not official releases lol.

is there anyone here of an official capacity who i could pass on details of this to? I have sent an email to Paisley Park asking for them to forward it etc.

Why would u bother? There are hundreds of people selling bootleg cd’s, vinyl, posters, mugs, t-shirts, dvd’s, coasters, fridge magnets, tea towels, key rings, artworks!!! Are u going to report them all? Who are u to say what people can & can’t sell? U say in ur profile u are an obsessed fan. So you’ve never bought, downloaded or listened to an unofficial studio track or a live concert? Liars & hypocrites are the scourge of music fandom. 🤬🤬🤬
