I found this on a local store a few days ago, after doing some research, i see the album is unavailble on amazon and other websites. Is any plans of re-release cancelled? Shold i get this copy? It looked really nice to be honest.

I did a quick check at discogs and prices for this vary widely. But by the time you paid shipping and whatnot there, you'd still probably be in the $35 ballpark.

So the question you have to ask is: Is Lovesexy on vinyl worth $35 to you? You ask if plans for the re-release are cancelled. Was there a planned re-release? (I haven't heard of one.)

It's something you want and you can get it where you are - supporting a local business in the process. Sounds good, to me!

also, be aware that there has been a lot of discussion on these boards concerning the quality of the pressings for this album. a lot of people have reported issues with the poor quality vinyl producing needle jump while listening. i personally have a promo copy that has always played fine...

and, yeah, it was part of the reissue schedule that was announced with 'around the world in a day', 'lovesymbol' and others, some of which (including 'lovesexy') were cancelled.
