Crazy Paypal auction with kiddies Prince book for $400! The link below does not have a closing date but assume it is soon. . http://www.ebay.com.au/it...SwQ1hZ6Lfc . It looks like some Kids book from the 80s (Reading Success) called Prince, by Michael Morgan, if the scary looking cover shot is not enough, they want $400 Australian for it plus $20 Postage and Papackaging. Ebay seems to be full of over priced crap like this. . Has anyone heard of or seen this book and why the hell is it so rare? Or is this just a clueless dreamer seller. . The description has nothing about what is in the book, just some generic nonsense about it's condition. Here is a picture of it, in case the auction ends. . [img:$uid]http://i.imgur..../img:$uid]

Yes, we are aware of this eBay auction. It is as you say, "a clueless dreamer seller." We have sent a long message to this clueless dreamer seller about price gouging and the effect it has on our fellow Prince fams and collectors. Also about being unfair, and is considered exploitative and such. They have since ended the auction.

Dreamer is a term we use on our Stamp collecting forum, that is someone who sells a common stamp worth a few cents or nothing for hundreds or even thousands of dollars, because they have no idea of what it is really worth. . There is a thread of 90 pages full of these dreamers selling common 3c stamps from 1950 and Hungarian wallpaper stamps for $80,000 and the like. Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name | |
