Paisley Park Cloud Replicas No idea where this thread belongs. Now that a couple months have passed since the November 2016 announcement, how many of us have a deposit down. I missed the Funkenberry post but managed to sneak in a deposit last week. Funny thing, their spec sheet makes no mention of a case. Cases aren't easy to come by and any guitar hourder will tell you it's the safest place for it when not out for play or display. Anyone concerned about that? Anyone else concerned that the deposit is non-refundable on something we don't know if it will ever exist? Looking on their site and getting the thing ordered makes me think their staffing is a little thin. Hey, I get it. Support keeping PP open for the people who are compelled to go.. closure. Tourism. Curiosity. Celebration. Jubilation. Meditation. I get it. So.... what's the latest? Or is it just sending $250 out there and hoping things go smooth? I'm hoping things go smooth. One of the new Schecter Clouds is on display at the NAMM Show in Anaheim right now. Search YouTube for "New Schecter Guitars at NAMM 2017." Start at the 21:00 minute mark. They show a Purple Symbol then a White Cloud. If you read thesign on the wall, it says something about a partnership with Paisley Park, so most likley this is one of the new ones. It has the shorter headstock like the 2000 editions, as well as the pickups are front loaded versus rear loaded (on the real clouds). There is also an oversized symbol on the body.

I put a deposit down too. I doubt they come with a case. They usually ship in a plain brown box, like all new schecter guitar. They look exactly like the Clouds made around 2000, except they have EMG pick ups, i dont see any hardware difference, or differences in guitar shape. Probably the same paint colors scheter used before.

They are still waiting for the shipment from Schecter and should just be 2-3 weeks out before the invoices go out. | |

Hey there, Any news? I have recieved final invoice already on 4th March. I have also asked PP to tell me about the shipping dates. No answer yet. Does anybody know more?
