Today a good condition cover of the BLACK ALBUM went up on eBay … PERSONALLY SIGNED in silver metallic ink by SHEILA E. & ERIC LEEDS. The autographs stem from a Sheila E. concert in Germany with a post-show autograph signing. (The Black Album lends itself perfectly to signatures for obvious reasons. However, I doubt that too many folks asked Escovedo & Leeds to sign THIS particular one.)

It’s selling from Germany at 150 EUR plus postage … which should equal some US-$ 170, and it’s shipping WORLDWIDE. Payment is possible via PayPal. Or you can pay seller a visit and pick it up yourself.

I doubt indeed that not too many people would ask Leeds and Sheila E. to sign a fake 1987 album. Check out throughly the vinyl itself.

The cover in question stems from the late 1980s. The signature is from the 90s.

Where does the ad read "original pressing", though? You’re not telling anyone anything new, I think.

And you certainly won’t expect a signed 1980s’ WB pressing of the BA to be offered at 100 bucks, or do you? In case you really did, WAKE UP, please! That price tag suits the item just fine, I would say.
