The one for sale was actually the one the re-issue was modeled after.

It's completely original, besides a little extra switch which was installed by the previous owner on the control plate.

It puts both pickups in series so you get some kind of a big humbucker sound, which is pretty cool.

I upgraded the tuners to schallers (like Prince did, and H.S. anderson in the '80s), installed better saddles and better pickups (one bill lawrence, one handwired steffsen), but if you want to I can convert it back to the original state in 5 mins.

The original parts are of course sold with the guitar.

I'm selling it because I currently have 4 mad cats (this '79, an '84, an 45th anniversary and a vintage re-issue), and I need some funds to buy an amplifier.

Asking price is 3500€.

The new re-issues sell for 2850€, so not a huge difference for a vintage one.
