Just now bought most of his tourbooks on ebay but didn't know whether or not I should get the act I or D&P tour program. I ended up getting act I book (kinda thought it would b more focused on the and Come albums, was I right?).

After I bought it, I read on a very old thread about tourbooks that the ACT I tour book is pretty much the same as the D&P tour book (xcept for pics of Mayte? and no Rosie?). Are they the same tho?

Yes, that is correct. They are both virtually the same - Act I has some pics of Mayte, but overall they are very similar. Act I is focused on the symbol album, I don't see much in the way of the come album in them.

So I guess the Come era pics would b in the Act II program?

Possibly, but I'm just guessing!

Depends on what you mean by "Come era pics". The Act I and Act II tours were in support of the album. Prince started recording material for Come at the beginning of 1993, before the start of the Act I tour. So if you mean that you want pics of what Prince looked like while he was working on the Come album, then those books are a good start. The Sacrifice of Victor book was a photography book that was done on the Act II tour, and he has the same look. Prince cut his hair in November of 1993 and pretty much kept that same look for many years after, i.e. the release of Come and Gold albums. So if you mean "Come era pics" by the release of the album, then get the Gold tour book. Hope that helps!
