Has anyone ordered anything from theelectricman90?

I get sent a mailing list of Prince stuff - just wondering if he's legit.

I used to chat online to someone with that name, nothing to do with trading, he lived in Leicester, so if that's the address it may be him.

He might steal your money. He was probably the best seller out there, but if you get the wrong disc, or if it is damaged, don't expect him to answer your emails. Sad, because he really was the best, now he is only after your money.

I am talking about a guy who sells "import cds" online, sends emails out, and used to be a good seller. If he makes a mistake, he will simply ignore your emails, and steal your money.

What made you think I classified Prince as a seller? This topic is about a guy sending out emails and selling cds...not something Prince would do. I'm talking about some guy in the Netherlands. I will repost if he ever corrects the situation, but I doubt he cares.

I know the person, I would not say well (never met in person) but I used to buy stuff from electricman over period of 4 to 6 years. We had as close of a relationship as one could have over the WWW.

I of course would say to source the same items through different means but if you must, start out slow, spend a very low amount in case you lose it. Test the waters.

If it is the same person, they are legit.

If you know him, why don't you forward a message to him that he has not responded to over 10 emails over the last 6 months to someone, only answered one, and is not willing to replace the wrong disc sent out. I'm probably going to file a paypal case against him, and based on the stuff he is selling, he probably doesn't want the attention.

I don’t have a problem helping another out, I do have a problem with “If you know him, why don't you forward a message to him”….. why don’t you get some manners? That’s no way to ask.

I wasn't intending to be rude. I'm probably just pretty pissed that I sent him a lot of money over the years, and he is simply ignoring me. I'm sorry about that.

I understand, I got the wrong impression. All good.

I had similar experiences in the past but he usually retruned my e-mails. He heads out of town a lot and gets busy with his family sometimes. I would send him another e-mail stating your concerns and how you want to take it up with paypal.

At the same time I think you just have to take the loss. I once ordered a bunch of discs and he got my address wrong, he could not refund but he sent me a smaller package to test the address. After that I never had any problems.

If I had spent 400 or so Euro on him over the years, I might be inclined to take the loss. I might be one of his top customers. I probably spent at least 2000 Euro when the conversion rate made it thousands of dollars, and maybe 1500 Euro after that. Since he simply sent me the wrong disc, he could easily send me the right one. I've probably sent him 10 total emails since the wrong disc arrived in March. Any more than 10 emails would be a waste of time. Since I am a heavy Paypal customer, I could file a case against him, which would likely be very damaging to his business, which I really would not want to do, as I just simply want the disc I paid for. What's worse, is he simply sent me another copy of a disc I already bought from him. Epic fail.

If you were considering ordering something from someone, wouldn't you like to know how they

handle their business? The original poster directly asked for this type of information, and I'm

providing it. I may not get my money back, I'm giving the poster information that could be

helpful.

Although i understand people try to get their money back i am with Udo on this one. You can easily damage a reputation of someone this way going public... Be civilized and contact him....

I guess the 12 emails I have sent him was NOT contacting him????? Please explain how that is not contacting him? I have been very patient. This guy was a great seller, and I have given him every opportunity to make it right. The one email he sent me was him saying he wasn't responsible for sending the wrong disc.

Damaging his reputation? If you were about to spend your hard earned money on something, and I knew he had been poor with customer service, but I kept it to myself, and then after you got burned, I say....oh...you should have known....

This seller screwing up and not fixing it is more than enough reason to damage his reputation.

I'm simply providing the service the original poster asked for...

If the original poster only wanted positive answers, then he would not have made the post in the first place.

Because I believe in being as honest as possible, in all situations with the positive and the negative. I will say that the electricman90 stepped up to the plate and corrected the situation, and even went above the call of duty. Thank You electricman!
