Prices for rare items

Hello all. Have been doing a bit of research and cant find any info regarding prices paid for particular items. Personally and i'm sure for many of us money has gotten real tight. therefore I'm considering should I sell my Hit and Run cd single collection.... All sealed and mint except for the daisy chain-(open). also have the undertaker cd - shellacked. The war cd sealed. Slave/New world cassette. Just wondering does anyone remember prices paid on ebay for these items or others?

The only way to know for certain would be to put the items on eBay with no reserve and see how high they go. I just bought one of the white vinyl Black Album promos on eBay, and the final price I had to pay was significantly higher than anything I had seen on popsike.com:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/3...627wt_1165

Also, I think popsike.com only keeps track of vinyl records, not CDs. I don't know of an equivalent site for CDs.

Hey guys, thanks 4 the input. I remember a time when I didnt have the Hit and run cd singles and was bidding on ebay that the price for the "Peace" cd alone was unbelievable...like 500 either sterling or euro. just crazy. I'd help ye out with the black albums but I passed on the opportunity several years ago to buy copies of the coloured promo's. Sorry.

Is there anyone out there with a "Welcome 2 America - Eurotour" Programme. I may be able to offer say the Undertaker cd and other rare items as a swap. Have a think about it, cheers.

Only about 50 or so copies or so were sold from the Welcome 2 Europe Tourbook, before being pulled and destroyed.

Hard to get, if sold at all

I am looking for a tee shirt that is from yester-year. I would like to find the tee shirt that has Rude Boy on it. Can someone suggest where I might be able to find such an item?

Wow! I got my white album promo just last year for $325. The price of these things has gone through the roof! I wonder how much a grey vinyl promo would go for these days? Anyone seen one for sale lately?

I've been looking for a grey vinyl copy for a while but haven't seen one. I wonder if the website www.theblackalbum.info is helping to boost prices. I did not know about the limited edition promos until I discovered that website. However, I think there is also an upward trend in the prices of Prince-related collectibles generally. I guess the older we get the more money we can spend on this stuff. lol

The last one sold for $1000 a couple of years ago.
