PurpleWear from the 80s?

bkchavez	PurpleWear from the 80s? Does anyone remember PurpleWear from the 80s? The clothing was sold at the mall (Merry-Go-Round, if I recall correctly). It was a ruffled white shirt and jacket (from the "When Doves Cry" video.) I was so mad that my parents wouldn't buy it for me. Now, I can't find any for sale anywhere (including e-bay)! Any thoughts?

I have one of the shirts. It was part of a collection I bought about 12 years ago. Not in great shape. It has discolored over the years.

jmfd	I guess that "purplewear" was produced so quickly to capitalize on the PR craze, that the quality of the products was not on the designers mind. I bet the colors faded pretty fast if it was cleaned.
