I believe all of the copies of this 12" are retail, not promos (see retail barcode on label and cat#). There is also a cassette single with the same tracks as this 12", so really not the only place to find "Whistling Kenny". The cassette is much rarer, so admittedly, a picky point. Nevertheless, good luck.

yep, espcially since the cassette single has a picture sleeve, which makes it more attraactive

Thanks for the clarification. I was always curious if that was a promo or a retail copy. Even though it is a retail copy, I'm really not sure if it was issued in huge numbers. I also have the cassette single but I do not know which storage bin it's in. I received alot of unique items from Bellmark, the rarest probably being a x-reference cassette for the Love Sign remixes. The other thing that comes to mind is the U.S. Lp jacket and inner sleeve for 1-800-NEW-FUNK which wasn't issued in the U.S. The rep. I got them from said that only a few were made.
