Selling my Prince collection (over 600 items)

Hi.

I'm planning on selling my collection and i'm looking for tips on how to do it?

I have been collecting since 1983 and it's over 600 items that include:

Vinyls

Cd's

Tambourines

Concerposters

Regular posters

Jevelery

Books

Magazines

T-shirts

And so on....

A few REALLY rare items.....

A lot of stuff...

So what should i do... 600 posts on Ebay is a bit timeconsuming...

Any ideas?

Best regards

Elfar

Thank you guys for all the Orgnotes.

Have had a lot of offers regarding the tambourines, the keychains, some of the concertposters, the books The Vault and DMSR, my concerttickets, older vinyls and cd's...

As for questions, I don't have the Original Madhose, Jill Jones CD's!

BUT i do have an original The Family cd... wink

Some of you want to know specifics of the tambourines.

The 86 one is just a Purple tambourine that has a Love god sticker on it.

It was thrown out to me at the Stockholmconcert in 86 by Prince (if my memory serves me right you can see him throw it on the Stockholm 86 DVD)

It is NOT a paisley tambourine, just plain simple purple one!

It is slightly dameged due to a fight i had to fight to get it... smile

The 90 one is the "Old style prince symbol" tambourine.

Black with the old style Prince symbol in gold.

It was given to me by Kirk at the 1990 concert in Stockholm!

It is in VERY good condition!

As for the Keychains.

I have a bigger one that i think i bought in 93 in Stockholm.

And a smaller one that i bought in London in 95 or was it 92... can't remember.

Both are authentic ones bought at Prince concerts.

Concert posters... I have all official concert poster that are from Sweden.

That is posters from 1986, 1987, 1988, 1990, 1993, 1998, 2002.

Also have some from other countrys including Denmark 88 Oslo 2002 and some others.

Also have some officially sold posters of the band at concerts...

T-shirts... have maybe 15-20 that i bought at concerts from 1986-2002..

Vinyls.. Some VERY rare singles and maxis!

I will not take any offers via org-notes.

Everything will be photographed and sold on Ebay!

Strartin bid on ALL items will be 1$

It will be sold under the name "The 1$ Prince collection"

Will take some time the photograph everything, but i will sell about 50 items a week!

As for LittleNicci's question... Why am i selling...

Have i gone off Prince..

Yes and no.

I don't have the urge to collect anymore, also the sentimental attatchment that i have for some of the stuff is gone! The 86 concert poster will be hard to sell, but it's all good!

The biggest item for me is a thing i can never sell anyway.

It is the basketball that i played with Prince and the band at Solnahallen back in 1990!

I was given the ball by Prince after we had played basketball för almost 2 hours!

I was invited to the game by chance because i just happend to be at Levis hotelroom listening to a precopy of Grafitti bridge when the phone rang and Levi asked me if i wanted to play some basketball... I asked, who's coming and he replyed... Prince, the band and some bodyguards... My answer was YES!!!!!

I can never prove this story, but that basketball is the treasure of my collection and it will never be sold.. smile

As for the music, i have a 2TB harddrive of music concerts, DVD's and so on...

I will still listen, but i don't need the vinyl ;.)

Peace and i will give a shoutout when i start the selling!

OMG

When I read this, I thought I was going to faint. I have been a Prince fan since 84, have seen him play on many occasions, (but not enough), but never had the chance to meet him in person.

I'm so jealous! I'd give away my entire collection (which includes almost all vinyl that exists) for a similar experience!

Well, confused , in the meantime I'll be checking out your items. lol razz razz
