i have been searching and searching for items signed by prince for a while..

i found a signed purple rain cd on ioffer...but considering its only 40 bucks...im thinking its fake.

if you know someone who is selling a REAL (with COA) autograph of prince,

please let me know,

This topic comes up every 3 or 4 months.

But in general, most, say around 98% of all Prince autographs you see for sale are not authentic by his hand.

Keep in mind he hasn't signed anything "Prince" since about 1992 or early 1993 at best.

The majority of the ones, even with COA are not legit. So basically unless you have a witness to him signing something from prior to 1993, don't trust it.

Buyer beware. When in doubt do your research.

I have a 2 LPs signed by Prince and band members - from tower records days. I havent a COA coz they dont hand those out when you get them signed. You just have to accept the explanation when buying on line and if curious, just ask where and when they got it signed. Ode for mobile phones in circ 1987/88/90's - lol.

I have one Cd "The Most Beautiful girl in the World" Maxi Single with Staxowax etc... signed by Prince himself with the Symbol.

But I don't sell it, sorry.
