Hi y'all.

The digital age is here and i definitely say goodbye to CD's.

I guarantee 100% that all my CD's are genuine and not copies. All of them have been bought in the 90's at a time when copies were not circulating. The only one that was bought in the 2000's is Vanity 6 but i cannot see anything that could make me think that it's a fake.

I also had many more related CD's but i saw that they were very common and worth nothing online so they'll go with the non-Prince stuff at the local wrecka stow. And as for bootlegs i think selling them on Ebay is forbidden (there are so few of them there that they have to be) so they'll go at the wrecka stow as well...

It took me YEARS to put my hands on some of these. Most of the time i first got them on cassette then eventually on CD...

It feels a bit strange to say goodbye to them, but on the other hand the music is safely stored in my computer and tha music was the real reason i loved them...

I've felt and done the same back 10 years ago. But 1 day i've realize that just a copy of an Eric Leeds cd is not enough. Then i've started to collect again 2 or 3 years ago

I see what you mean, Times Squared's booklet is very nice indeed

I KNOW i will miss Come 2 My House's booklet

I need the money anyway, and as i'm leaving for a foreign country, an external hard drive with all my music is a more logical thing to keep than my 550 CD's (not to mention that i've downloaded more CD's than i ever bought these past 6 years, so my collection is a cybernetic one by now )

By the way some orger put to my attention that forum rules forbids putting ads to NPGMC exlusive material (ONA piano and Rave remixes) but i take it that it's an old rule the mods forgot to erase?

I hardly see how Prince could legally put the Org into trouble for an orger selling legitimely and legally acquired CD's that Prince isn't selling exclusively anymore. But if the mods want me to erase these 2 CD's from the list please lemme know.

I think you are correct. These are advertised here quite often with no problems. I mean, they're legitimate commercial releases, only very limited in the amount pressed.
