Which Dez album are we talking about? I followed the link from SG and it went to a page that nothing worked on. Hmmm? I have "One Man", but interested if anything else is available.

of us have much to be thankful for (indeed, if we have a pulse, and are able
to read this email, we can be thankful!).

I'd also like to take this opportunity to let you know about something very
special. Many of you have expressed interest in the unreleased Modernaires/Dez
Dickerson Band material. After much planning and discussion in our camp,
we've decided to make available a one-time, limited edition retrospective (sort
of Dez-trospective !) collector's package. It will include a double disc CD
(complete with comprehensive 'liner notes' from me, describing interesting
facts and anecdotes about the recordings), and a photo album (featuring photos
from my personal collection not published in "My Time With Prince").
The package will span from 1982-1986, and will include photos and music
from my Special Guest stint on Billy Idol's 1983-84 "Rebel Yell" tour.

Here's where it gets interesting-we will only release 250 of these Limited
Edition Retrospective packages. Each one will be signed and numbered (like an
artists serigraph), and the first 100 of you to order will receive a personal
letter of authenticity from me. We'd like to make this very special-for that
reason, after 250 sets are sold, it will never be offered again.

What's the price? $50 for a double disc of never-before released material,
and a photo album of never-before-published personal photographs.

There's one other thing-I really want to make certain that this is something
you're interested in as fans and friends. For that reason, we won't
manufacture these sets until we have received at least 100 pre-orders. We're asking
that those of you who want to take advantage of this one-time offer pre-order
with a $10 deposit via Paypal. As soon as we have the first 100, we'll
manufacture immediately, and those of you who pre-ordered will receive the package

I'd like to thank all of you for the wonderful and enthusiastic response to
the retrospective package we've received.

Although we have not yet reached the magic 100 mark in orders, because of the
excitement that many of you have expressed regarding the project, I feel it's
important to move forward anyway. We are working toward having the package
ready to ship by Christmas!

With this in mind, we're asking that those of you who have ordered and paid
your deposit pay the remaining balance of $40.00 plus shipping and handling
($5.00 for US and $9.00 for international) no later than December 15th. I
apologize if this is short notice for you, but I feel strongly about getting it out
before Christmas (consider it our contribution to what we hope will be a merry

Many of you have asked whether "Modernaire" would be on the disc. I'm happy
to say, yes it will be (full version)! There will also be some other rare

I trust everyone had a wonderful Christmas. As Johnny Mathis' classic
recording says, "It's the most wonderful time of the year...".

I wanted to let you know that the ship date for your retrospective sets has
been postponed due to an unforeseen delay in the CD manufacturing. We hope to
have product back from the plant soon, and we will be shipping your orders
just as soon as we can.

The good news is, we were able to remaster most of the tracks as well. I'm
very excited about this collection, and hope you all enjoy it. We will keep
you posted on the revised ship date. I apologize for the delay, and I will
personally see to it that the sets ship as soon as it is possible.
