I've seen recently on the internet somewhere that there are CDs being released and the discs look like the LP inner sticker of each release.

What are they called and where do I get them?? Any help appreciated.

You are probably thinking of the fairly new Japanese HSMCDs. You can HMV and of course e-bay. There are many copies around at decent prices.
