Here is an unbelievable Prince rarity -- This is an original Could Guitar made by Schecter that was played by and presented as a gift by Prince

This Cloud Guitar was given to the lead guitarist of the Fonky Bald Heads, by Prince himself. When Prince presented the gift he played a few songs on this very guitar, himself.

The guitarist's name is Fish, whom has played with many famous musicians - you can see his website at: www.colorblindfish.com

He was the lead guitarist for a Paisley Park / Prince creation called the Fonky Bald Heads, whom toured with and opened for Prince on the Hit & Run Tour.

Also Included are:
- 2 VIP All Access Laminated Badges for Paisley Park and the Hit & Run Tour that were connected to a custom made zebra guitar soft carry bag.

As a guitarist for over 30 years, I’ve gotten the chance to perform and record with some of the biggest names in the music business. The most memorable, by far, were the years between 1998 and 2001, when I was working With Prince on and off, mostly at his Paisley Park Studios facility in Chanhassen, Minnesota. I spent several years working on the “Fonky Bald Heads” project, then toured with Prince on his “Hit and Run” Tour in 2001. I had always loved his “Cloud” guitar, ever since seeing Purple Rain. Prince had several Clouds made for him over the years, then in 2001, had Schecter Guitars produce a series of that style guitar for him. Some were made with bolt-on style necks, which Prince sold through his website and on tour, and a limited run was made at (a higher quality) with set-neck design and upgraded electronics and hardware… along with the “symbol” fret markers. While in rehearsals (and recording sessions) at Paisley Park, I had the chance to play several of Prince’s guitars (including his old Hohner Tele and the “Symbol” guitar), but I fell in love with the Cloud. At first, it was his blue Cloud, then a white one… When I was given the opportunity to own a Cloud, I was honored, and have used it on several tours including the “Hit and Run” tour, and a tour with Teena Marie. I’ve also played the Cloud on several records, including 2Pac’s “Better Dayz” album.

More on the history of the CLOUD (only 339 licensed ones ever made):

In 1993, during the Diamonds & Pearl era, 27 Cloud guitars were built. They were sold at the
Minneapolis & London/Camden NPG shops for £3500 ($5000 US) and to Hard Rock
Cafés. These were based on the original Purple Rain design and were made to Prince’s
exact specifications.

During the Hit & Run tours of 2000, Prince started selling Cloud guitars on tour and via
NPG music club. Only 312 total were ever made. There are various versions of these made by
Schecter, who still to this day makes Prince's guitars. The first set of 12 were made in the
USA. The other 300 were made in South Korea under the ‘Diamond Series’ label. The
first batch of Schecter cloud guitars had "symbols" as the fret markers are are rarer. Also
some of them had a bolt on neck and some had a "thru" neck - meaning the entire guitar is
once piece of wood. The "thu" necks were also more expensive and more rare and that is what
this one is.

These guitars feature Duncan Design pick-ups and a Grover machine heads.
