Prince CD Longboxes Hi All,
I am looking for a bit of history in regards to Prince CD Longboxes. I have acquired some over the years, occasionally look to see if there are any on ebay but they do not come up for sale very often Can anyone tell me how many exist and which ones are now particuarly rare (Black Album aside!) I have quite a few and considering what I would get for them. All of them are used but in pretty good condition considering how old they are now..... Diamonds and Pearls may have been the last Prince CD that came only in a longbox (in the US). Every disc preceding D&P came in a longbox. I think the coolest P longbox was the ATWIAD one (first pressing only). It was a fold-out with a slit for the CD. There were longboxes for CD-Singles, Cassettes and Cassingles too. Musicology is the last Prince CD to be packaged in a full-artwork longbox (select retailers) that I know of - folks, correct me if I'm wrong. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
