And are you looking for the promo 12", or the regular 12", and do you want black or purple vinyl? You should update your post to reflect those options.

Gotta go with Xeno on this one. The instrumental was only on the UK 12", never on purple vinyl or a promo. The US 12" promo was only pressed on purple vinyl from what I understand. The officially released US 12" was in purple or black.

I remember having to buy the 12" Purple Rain/God - Love Theme as a UK import, so it cost a bit more back in the day. It wasn't hard to find here in the US, just costlier.
