kevos	crown jewels cd Yeah finaly gaot this cd at my local store they had a fine collection of promos and rare stuff but not on display, thank god I asked. Anybody else got it. Now all i really want is the original SIGN O THE TIMES CD u no, the one with the old style double case like emancipation came in.

lulu720	Yes I also have The Crown Jewels CD have had it since original release, I worked in a music store and had the opportunity to grab it then.

Hi, I have the original 'Sign O' the times' double case cd. And I bought it in Italy some years ago. I really think you could find it somewhere on ebay if not in old wrekca stows! razz

Crown Jewels is an official release that got withdrawn??? Or a promo? Has it got any original material on it that is not released elsewhere?

Hi guys

It is a promo, it has never been officially for sale, I know because I was working for a record store and we got a single copy for purely promo use which is my copy.

I read on an ebay listing that only 750 were ever made but not sure if that is true.

The tracks are:1999, Little Red Corvette, When Doves Cry, Purple Rain, Raspberry Beret, Kiss, Anotherloverholeenyohead, Sign 'O The Times, I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man, Alphabet St, Batdance, Partyman, Get Off, Diamonds And Pearls, Money Don't Matter 2 Nite, and Thieves In The Temple.

So no new tracks but nevertheless a rare item.
